I’m baaaack!

For those of you who are new to this blog, allow me to introduce The Hope Chronicles: Redux. 

To give you some perspective on why I decided to relaunch the blog, I direct you to an email—that’s right, an email—my mom sent in response to my farewell article in 2007:

The HOPE CHRONICLES 

Week of November 25, 2007

“Good morning baby. Kathy please don’t stop. You just don’t realize just how many people you have touched by your writings.

You know you don’t leave a job until you have another to go to. If I’m not mistaken, God has not told you or given you something else to do, correct?

Others have written about encouragement, but not like you have. Rethink. You are really
touching lives.”

She would go on to mention it a few more times prior to her death in January 2014. I told her I would, indeed, rethink. I just needed the time and the space to focus on how I wanted to present it, and what its new purpose would be.

Eight years later, I think I am ready. Ready to reconnect with my long time readers and make new friends.
