Where There’s a Will There’s a Way in Hope

You may have heard of the old adage, where there’s a will, there’s a way

The phrase is a pithy way of communicating what many of us who grew up in the Old School know to be true: that overwhelming determination yields results. If the determination is there, so is a way for it to happen.

These days, that will or determination is gone. We’re a society accustomed to instant gratification brought on by the Digital Age. First the internet, and now the rise of AI. With the rapid—and sometimes frightening—evolution of technology, we can access many things that previous generations of successful people took years to accomplish.

But we’re just playing at achievement; substituting grit for convenience and critical thinking for “soft lives.”

We’ve lost the creativity needed to make things happen for ourselves and lack the drive to see things through because our focus is on appearing successful, without doing the work it takes to be successful.

Sounds pretty bleak for a blog about hope, right?

The good news is that there is a certain freedom that comes from going against the norm in today’s world—in other words, being yourself. Within authenticity lies a creativity unique to YOU. Remaining true unlocks that creativity and frees you to explore it and make your mark on the world.

The will to succeed requires hope.

And where there’s hope, there’s a way.

The Lord’s Prayer: Ask forgiveness for your sins; be willing to turn from your sins; and believe that Jesus Christ—our Lord and Savior—died for your sins and rose again.
