Anxiety + Prayer+ Reflections = Hope

It’s easy to gain perspective from a situation after the fact.

FIRST, we’re faced with what seems like a life-altering challenge.

Here’s how it works:

NEXT, like everything else, it passes.

THEN, we sit down with ourselves and reflect on how everything worked out in the end, and

FINALLY, resolve we’ll do better with our anxiety the next time we are faced with a problematic situation.

Problematic situations are a part of life and if we are to manage anxiety we have to look for the hope.

For me, finding hope in my circumstances occurs when I’m able to recall the many times I let my anxiety get the best of me—only to have the situation work out…usually better than I could have imagined.

The next time you feel anxious over a situation, I encourage you to pray. But that’s only half the battle. Afterward, you’ll want to remember the last moment of anxiety you had, how your situation worked out, and trust that it will happen again.

Where here’s anxiety, there’s the opportunity for prayer.

Where there’s prayer, there’s reflection.

Where there’s reflection, there’s hope, and where there’s hope…there’s a way.

That was such a good read and reminder. I’ve suffered with anxiety since I was a child. Lately I remember to pray and relax. I turn it over to God.
Thanks Kathy. I hope that people will take heed. God bless!

Same here! Every time I turn over the anxiety in prayer, it goes away.
